Ballarat Swap

First time I've been there since the mid-late 90's as it was always huge, hot, dry dusty. To do it all they say you would have walked 22 k's.

A cool cleansing ale (under cover) offered by friends was a blessing.

Having not been for years. One thing i noticed asa stand out out of the 2500 odd sites i saw -

Hubcaps ---HD HR plentyfull in good & excellent condition, FE FC ones plenty also in good / fair condition. FX FJ a reasonable amount in average reasonable condition -
some FB in average condition only - (Now the insight) : EK's - only 3 seen and all 3 were average/ crap - no wonder they go for a lot on ebay!
(Now if anyone pipes up and says I've plenty of these in good dent / rust free conition out in my garage and will sell them - Private mail me, I woouldn't mind getting a couple)

One bloke had an entire FB's chromework rechromed for $800. He would not separate them

A local mechanic had these 2 grey motors for sale. One was excellent internals / the other fully rebuilt. Both sold quickly for $1500

Wish I had the room, this cool 50's caravan was for sale. it would great behind my EK

These genuine NASCO Fb EK clear vinyl seat mats were for sale for $600. they say they had sold a couple before and fit well and are in good condition.
