Roof side moulding - New clips ?

Looking for info on where to get new clips for the roof side mouldings. Or if an alternative is available. After removing the mouldings the clips are shot.
It's the one that follows the roof line right to the back.

Finny,
I went without these strips on my wagon for 3 years because of the same problem, so I understand your dilemma...
Best option is to see a trim clip manufacturer - rares, jackson's, etc - and see if there's anything in their catalogue which may be modified to suit. That, or the patience to gradually piece together a set via swap meets, ebay and any wagons being wrecked
It's all part of the fun
Cheers,
Matt

Please, no pop rivets, self tappers or tek screws
The trick with FBs is to get them off the upper tailgates, as it's the same clip, just slightly better protected than those on the roof.
I don't think EK wagons have a trim section there, so it may well be a case of just gradually assembling another set.. you'll get there in time...

Hi Finny,
I am facing the same problem...
I have some rusty clips that I will use as a template to make a a die out of steel the same profile as the inside of the clip. I have picked up some similar thickness stainless steel and will then use the die to shape the stainless into the right profile.
Thats my plans anyway...knowing my luck it wont work...
regards
Stewart

Stewart, best of luck.
Show us some pictures when you have finished, and let us know how successful you were.
I was hoping to find something that already existed, and was the right shape.
l'll keep looking.

Otherwise I'll need to make something also.
