Hi NoMad,
I think this is well known, but for those who feel I'm a purist - shock and recover.....

I used Fairlaine (around the 99/2000 model - square edges) rear retracts in mine - made up some 5 mm plates to fully fit the underside of the outer rear deck and welded on angled brace to sit against the rear seat partition - welded the end of the plates to the boot lid support frame then just fitted them.......only one bolt holds them in place and you'll need to make up some sort of cover as it is very visible on the rear deck.

You'll have to do a bit of playing around with finding the correct hole to make through the deck and the plate - otherwise you can't get them out once the plates are welded in.....

Had to get some longer floor straps/connectors to suit......and made sure they were matched to the buckle......

No complaints from anyone yet........ except those in the front pass seat......

Rosco

Or ring Stampy - he is in Vic and he does a neat setup that mounts underneath the parcel shelf - I`ve got them in my Monaro.

NoMad,
try and get out to the garage later today and take a couple..... if not, tomorrow....

you may wish to follow up Blacky's suggestion - I'm only an amateur and necessity forced my hand....
