FB Warmaride heater control

Does anyone have a picture or a diagram of the rear of a heater control on a warmaride heater.I'm after the bit that goes from the back of the heater slide control to the on/off tap on the side of the heater - I'm not sure if it's a bit of metal rod or some sort of cable control.
