Piggy, we missed you again...

This was a great day out and an excellent turn up in spite of the cold and patchy weather. As Pinky said a number of times through the day "...mid winter wander? my bloody oath!!"

Great variety of cars, and some real nice country in the 80km cruise from Newcastle to Cessnock... Counted 4 other EKs (3 wagons and 1 factory black sedan...)keeping the FB company and finally got to meet some of the locals I normally beep and wave to - Rob, I think we may have some more takers for our Harry's cruises :D

Here's hoping this becomes an annual event!

Newcastle herald were there on the day and produced this article...

My wife organised a surprise trip to Brisbane for the Origin and then the weekend on the Gold Coast. Soz again guys.

We should just do a casual meetup in town one weekend.

Who's EK Wagon is in today's Herald?

The EK in the paper is owned by a fellow from up Maitland way and is a daily driver - I've passed him on my way to work a number of times, hence the 'beep and wave' comment. Nice bloke too.

MP, you have my details - any time you're up for a weekend cruise guranteed you'll have a few starters 8)
