metal strips for trim

hey guys,

i'm a bit stuck on what to do with the metal strip that go around the trim on the back of the back seat & the tailgate....

i have bee told that they were originally galv' but i not sure i like that look but i have see any like that... other than that they can be chromed which sound flash but will be durable, as far as rust is concerned


so can i see what you guys have done with these strips...some pics would be good if possible, as this would help my desicion making proccess...

Sorry no pickies but if it were me I'd get them chromed and use stainless screws

Hi Matty,

couple of other options would be nickel plate which I 'think' is one step off from Chrome plating and is OK for interior...and can be polished up.

Or even good old bright zinc plate...which is probably what I will end up doing with my wagon...heap and looks OK.

znk worked out $100 cheaper... so i went with chrome...
