g'day my name is chris. just joined. i live in forrestfield and got a fb ute.
not as good as some of yours but still love it. looking for someone that does brakes still got drums all round. with two rug rats not much time to work on it. just needs shoes and cylinders but knowone really touches them. will need help in the future looking for parts to return it more original. :)
got to love the old trusty grey motor and drum brakes

Welcome to the Forum. Doesn't matter about the quality of the ute. The fact is you love it and you're driving it.

I moved your post to the Brakes Category. Hopefully someone from WA can help with some advice.

Hi mate welcome cant help with the brakes but you should be able to find some one to reline them for you theres still plennty of drums around

Chris, try Hitech brakes in Prindiville Drive in Wangara, just around the corner from Chopped.
Apparently they can supply all the bits and skim your drums.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

cheers guys got it booked in next week with my brothers mate. apparently he has got some old mechanics working for him. will see how that goes, hopefully wont have to morgage the house. but i suppose you have to be able to stop. :D
