A 6 cylinder HQ radiator is an easy fit.

Just trim a couple of inches off the EK radiator support panel and drill 4 new holes. :D

Our 161 and 186 reds both run originals radiators and do not overheat :)

Hi fatboy,
I fitted an XW/XY radiator to mine back int he early '80's - never again.
Years later I spotted an EK ute with a late model radiator - from a HK/T/G
- never looked back - had to "trim" the baffle to fit it - it affords the original EH fan to be used - not a lot of clearance but can get little finger between fan pulley bolts and radiator core.
I welded in triangles to the ends of the baffle ribs to "finish" the cuts.
I also welded in a vertical plate to the back of each side to support the baffle and mount the radiator onto.
This radiator fits snugly between the sub-frame rails - but there's a little "room" for movement............ it may very well be an identical core to what has been posted above........ I don't know.

frats,
Rosco

I'm running HK/t/g and standard fan, as others I trimmed the edges to fit.

in the past i've had both a torana 6 cyl radiator and a commodore 6 cyl radiator ... by far the torana one was easier to put in :)
