XB XC Fuel tank install????

Before I start, I'd Like to say, this site is the best thing since best things began!!!!

Just signed up in the last few days, some of the info is priceless.

Now for the question.

I've heard around that it is possible to put a fuel tank from a XA XB &*#@ into my EK? Is there a certain way this is done?
Looks like its a tight fit after the few measurements I've taken. What would I need to collect to be able to do this?

Absolutely any info on this would be greatly appreciated as I'm the process of a bare metal, bare everything re-build on the old girl.

Nearly forgot I've also heard of putting the filler in behind the tail light this sounds interesting too!

if you put &*#@ parts in holdens you car will rust.......
