hr diff in fb wagon

hr diff in fb wagon

ive found out that once you put a hr handbrake cable in it is to short and have had to make up a piece to fit, has any one know a way to fix this problem propley??? cheers

You tell him the car and what diff yoiu have and its done, from memory it was less than $100 delivered or was that the speedo cable :?

I came across this problem some years back...

Rotten old cable in the wagon and nice clean one on a spare diff - easy swap, hey :D

Put it all in and pulled it up to the front brake arbor... well, nearly... about 6" too short! :shock:

Piece of flat bar with a hole drilled in either end and a second pivot/splitpin
solved it. 8)
