Hi Guys,
My Parents Bought me this EK when i was 13 and i'm now 23 so around 10 years ago but as i couldn't drive it they thought it would be a good idea to let my brother drive it

. Sadly 2 grey motors 2 gearboxes and a radiator later my brother bought himself a VP Commodore and dumped the EK back to me not running and a little ruffed up. Needless to say i was a little pi$$ed but things happen. Anyway the car has sat in the backyard since 2000 but i think it's about time i finally get this old girl driving again.
Here are some pix hope this works

Lets just say If I or many others on this site saw your car in its present condition and position , We'd be onto it tighter than 2 coats of paint

Hi would love to know in what part of Australia this EK resides in. There is a gentleman by the name of Steve Jackson who has a aminal shelter for old (215 and 219)standards. Could be one of his old ones. If you need advice you have come to right place. We will look after you. Cheers Michael

Thanks for the comments guys.
The car has been sitting out at my fathers tyre shop in Queanbeyan NSW since 2000 i also just bought this other EK a couple of months ago as a Drag Car Project!
The Front clip is sitting in the back of my Brothers EK ute which should be getting completed some time this year!
I'm from Canberra so the EK will be getting ACT rego.
My parents had been on the hunt for a EK for me for about a 6 months before they found (My Baby) in Carcoar NSW, near Bathurst. They were at the local pub in Carcoar having some lunch and the Barmaid notice that my parents were driving a 57 chev and told them she had a old holden she wanted to sell. My parent went and had a look at it and said 1G cash and we will go home and get the trailer she said ok and that the end of that story
Also i may have met some of you before at the Bathurst FB EK Nationals and the National the year after (Can't remember were) i didn't have a car there but my best mate and i were cruising around in his! White EK with flames *Picture below*

LOL yeah that would be the one we went past a speed camera van with about 8 people in the car doing god knows what speed at the bottom of conrod straight. Doing a hot lap in the EK sounded like a great idea at the time but thats cos there wasn't a sober person in the car
Also all that happened the day after Danny & i were court cutting another hot lap in the EK that cost him something like $500. Ahh those were the days

carcoar is just up the road from me
is it as solid as it looks?
what are you doing to it body and paint wise? if it were me i'de leave it the way it is and put a V8 or stinking hot red in it drop it a few inches (canberra has good roads so about 5"

) and a set of white walls

Mephious my ute has then as well, would say factory cos they slid fit into 2 slots on the top of the 1/4 window frame, mine are same colour as the body & you would need to remove the 1/4 window assembly to fit so couldn't imagine them being fitted after.
