official weight of a FB sedan?

hi to all great forum. im hoping somebody can help me im chasing the official weight of a FB std sedan for my mate as he has been told by the licencing dept that they are under 1100kg which i find very hard to believe as even a EH is over 1100kg. he is doing a V8 conversion and it needs to be over 1100kg to put in the motor he wants. hopefully someone might have some sort of proof of their official weight. thanks. paul.

i don't know the weight but it is under 1100kg i think it's 1090 or something like that, in NSW you are allowd i think 325ci max with that weight
my FB van with 308 trimatic chassis kit and so on weighs 1320kg so they are a fairly light car

According to the "official" FB workshop manual

following weights - they publish them as "estimated"

FB 215 2473 lbs
FB 225 2494 lbs
FB 219 2605 lbs
FB 229 2627 lbs
FB 2104 2559 lbs
FB 2106 2470 lbs

The FB Standard Sedan weighs in at 2473lbs.
Multiply this by .4536 to get the kgs = 1121kgs.

In NSW the caculation because the car weighs over 1100kgs is the original weight x .294 = 329CI.

Hence the fire breathing 327 that is my avatar.
