This is my boy Riley flogging the off calendars (earning his keep) won the colour-in comp,(lookout Yamba).

Got to talk FB/EKs to many new and interesting people, lost count of the amount of work i was offered.
Had some serious offers on the trailer and seems they all want the fins.

Had a lovely day chillin with The Dog singin the "aussie pimps drive Holden Panel Vans "song, then my cousin comes along and shows us his new Corvette....I WANT ONE.

thanks matty, we as adelaideians really look forward to this show - and you can see why  :D 8) great display of GM automobiles
its the closest thing we have to an all holden day....atm
We were fortunate enough to come away with second in our class FB/EK, and cameron(another S.A. club member - purple supercharged 350 - got third)
a real honor considering the amount, and caliber of the fb/eks on display
an added bonus considering we just plan for a family day out, and to support our club - the FB/EK car club of S.A. :D

regards

The Winner in our catagory, was a bloke from the FX to HZ Holden Car Club.
He had a beautiful Green/White restored EK which I didn't get a pic of  ,did anyone else get one?
We had a good chat with their members on the day and plan to do somethings together in the near future, top blokes.
I also passed on this forum address to them, so hopefully they will pop in here too

Cheers

Neat Ute with Snake Skin Interiour
Interesting to note that it probably isn't snakeskin, the place I buy leather from has heaps of interesting patterned leather, including snakeskin pattern.

I didn't actually think it was real snake skin, I included in the pics because
it was a bit coincidental that we have just seen Mez's new interiour, and
and then another pops up days later.
If it was real, It must have been a Bloody Big Snake judging by the size of some of those peices

I also have to agree with the comments, I had an absolute ball, The best car show I have been to so far... hands down. I had a fantastic time walking around looking at cars talking to their owners and looking at photo albums of resto's to show you just how the stunning example in front of you came to be.

I took a liking to this neat HQ, can't remember the miles on the clock but it was low, as soon as I stopped the owner (pictured) bailed me up and said it will be for sale soon as he is moving into a unit if I was keen. It was super tidy and the white walls and venitions really set it off. It's a 1971 model and he bought it in 1978 making him the 2nd owner, It has a 173 and trimatic - colomn shift and bench seat,. A good buy for $3000 if you ask me as it was near impossible to fault. Drop it on it's guts and you would have a very cool summer cruiser

Can't wait till next year, my car will be a lot better by then ! Also a big thankyou to Karen for taking the photo of me driving there, I love that photo !. It is now on my desktop at work so I can enjoy it more often :D .
You won't be late with a 138!

I would have to agree...to this extent;
I Preffered the total selection of cars at GM Day
BUT
I Preffered the way the OSNA Show was run and the way it felt on the day
NOW
We (you) can help make the OSNA Show better by bringing your car and telling all the other 'oldskool' vehicle owners to get their cars down their as well and make a style statement. 8) 8) 8)
Just my humble opinion.
Cheers,
SCK 8)
