hello to all, i have just joined the site and have a EK Panelvan which i just bought over from QLD. I need a little work done before getting over the pits ( just fitting new rubbers and repair of brake lights) but i am asking for information on a good mechanic for a 138 grey motor, and where i can get some chroming done and not get ripped off.
cheers Mal

Hi Mal
Look forward to seeing your van one day. I had some door handles done at Vince Chrome in malaga $160 the set, not a bad job, although not show quality. I have not had any bumber sections done yet, but $200 per section seems like the going rate.(ie $600 per bumper)

Hi Jeff,
cheers for the welcome,
I will try to get a few pics online, i am working up in east timor at the moment so i may not get some on for another couple of weeks.
I got her carried over by a mate cheap, and yes i was keen.
It runs great, just need to get a w.a rego on her when i get home.

hi ben,
cheers for the info, i have a few bubbles but not $600 worth!!
I will be spending a few more grand on the van, she has just been painted prior to me buying it, and is straight, i just emailed jeff some pics, as the computer at work won't let be go to photobucket.
Jeff maybe you could put them on here till i get home in a couple of weeks.

Hey chopped,
glad to hear your around the corner, a mate of mine Chris just bought a mat black EK ute, you have more than likely seen it around before, and has a few mates with Fb's etc, I am waiting on my new door windows then fit the rubber kit, and get over the pits, i just got to work and am away for 3 weeks, I will try my best to see where your at after then, I am keen to make it to a meeting to meet a few other owners.
