I know you can fit an HR front onto FB's quite easily but i was wondering if anyone could shed some light on how easy or hard it would be to fit commodore pattern to these cars
Reason i ask is i have set of Walkinshaw wheels just laying around and thought if not too hard i would adapt my new car when i get it to commy pattern and fit these rims to it
Cheers

Hi old school
i have comodore stud patern
on my ek sedan i fitted hr front end
with hq stub axels and comodore discs
to get comodore wheels to fit on.
on the rear i fitted early model comodore
complete diff .
You just have to watch what size rims you
put on the rear because there is not much
room under there .This was fairly easy to do
front was bolt in stuff the rear was moving the
saddles on the diff and re welding them back on to the
right position .(Have some pics if you need )
there are stud pattern adapters made by
billet that bolt to your hubs and make it a
different stud pattern dont know how legal
and exspensive they are but they do work
as onther option.

HQ PBR CAST IRON calipers
used some spacer washers for a better fit.

Hi Guys.
The thickness of the stud adaptor is made up for by the different offset of the Commodore wheel rims.
Be careful with these adaptors, there have been several nasty incidents with them. They are dangerous & AFAIK they are not legal in NSW. Not sure about other states.
Personally I wouldn't use them on a billy cart, let alone fit them to my 'pride & joy' & then drive it down the road at any sort of speed.

Nope, not legal in N.S.W, I checked on the RTA site.Only legal if factory fitted and the only factory fitted wheel spacers I know of are XU1 Torana.
