spray gun problem

We have the ute in most parts ready for undercoating but on a dummy run found the spray gun is 'pulsating' - have cleaned the gun by running thinners thru but still same - although not quite as bad - anyone any ideas on what could be the likley cause

Did you use gun wash to clean the gun, I have seen this make a big difference, we had pulsating when spraying polyestor and the gun wash worked a treat.
Otherwise check the compressor is up to it, maybe faulty reg?

No I used clean thinners - the tank pressure blow off valve set to 150psi, twin piston 50l tank & line pressure is 50psi so think it's more a gun or user problem ??
If all fails will give gun wash a go
