What are these heads from?

6 cylinder red motor heads.

1st one has number 7420109 cast into it.
Small combustion chamber 9 port.
I suspect EH/HD 149 but my master parts cattledog ( '48 to HD ) only lists a head for the above under number 7420108 ( not 7420109 )
Searched in obsolete number section to no avail.

Any ideas??

2nd one is part number 7429461.
Large combustion chamber 9 port and is modified with bigger valves and ported.Again, not in the master parts cattledog I've got.

Hi Terry.

The reason you won't find these numbers in the parts books is that they are casting numbers, not part numbers. These numbers are the ones for the bare castings, whereas the parts numbers in the parts books are for head assemblies (i.e. including rocker studs).

Anyway, to answer your question, the 7420109 head casting is for a standard EH/HD 149 & the 7429461 head casting is for an HR 186.
