HELP... cleaning doortrims

hey team,

i got some old door trims, that came with the car & i want to give them a clean to see how good they'll come up...

waht is the best thing to clean the with, some thing to get rid of grim + i think there might be a bit of grease on one of them...

Hi Matty I used spray and wipe on mine and they came up quite good takes a bit of elbow grease just dont rub too hard

did you use a damp or dry towl, or something else... so i can attack them this weekend...

Sorry Matty I've been out all day a clean rag will do CRC or WD is also excellent at removing stubborn grim (not on cloth vinyl only) and spray and wipe to remove the residue left by the CRC

i off my nann's place this morning, as that where all my stuff for the car is kept... she'll nodoubt have all those cleaning poducts...

hey guys check out my trims... i know, there fb trims... i like them better than the ek ones...

thanks for the tips on cleaning them... i ended up going with the jif... wow that jif is good shit...

check out before (on the left) & after, but before the chux, (on the right)...

then my wife, nicole, the clean freak... introduced me to the chux majic eraser, just ad water... now if you thought jif was good, well... i'll let the pictures do the talking

I think I gotta get one of them Chux magic eraser for my roadsters trim!!!!! And maybe redo the EK aswell! Good stuff Matty, thanks for the tip 8)

By the way your trims look pretty mint know.

Hi Matty,

Those Chux Magic Eraser's are awesome, i use them to keep my Slot Car track clean but i never thought to try one on the trim.

Well i know what i am doing next weekend.

hey retro,

no chance... i love the fb doortrims... i,ve got some front ones coming any day now, off a forum member named BEN, so i have some more cleaning shots of those ones...
he's giving me the two front doors & two more back doors plus one rear one that has been butchered...

hopefully have them buy the weekend
