We went for a little trip today, loaded the trailer up and away we went back down to a tiny little joint called Jitarning - we bought a ute there a few years back that broke in half trying to get it on the trailer.
Anyway - this is what we found when we got there …..
First up - a HR Prem that was in “real good nick” according to old Bill who owned all these gems

This is why we went - Firekraka was keen to pick this up but ………
At least he had painted all the firewalls on these heaps……

This guard had a small patch required…

When I got home I finished off a job I had meant to do for a long time - I had one old portaflood over these machines and it was hard to see on the linisher and even harder at the buff so I fitted a floodlight to each machine that comes on when you start the machine - much betterer

i nearly bought one years ago from Grenfell Wreckers that also had this mod, except it had the front seat up on a platform at the rear with a rod welded to the steering shaft and great long rods attached to the pedals so you sat/drove from the platformed seat sticking out through the roof, the great shame was it was a black car and besides the hole in the roof was near immaculate not even dented up considering it had been used as a shooting buggy

The FB sedan is another example of the most popular body style from the Nasco Rural Products Division: the Shooting Landau.
I know of one at Alectown. Roof apart, it's a straight, rust-free body.

besides the sedan i've seen 5 different windowless vans with the "conversion" 4 were (excuse the pun) "shot" but one was besides the roof still quite a good bodied van and was still in use and they would not sell it
