Floor pans

Anyone know if these replacement pans are the same as Rare spares pans?.....Or are they infact Rares pans?

I heard Rare Spares was getting out of getting things manufactured on their own behalf and going to more of a retailer model. It is probable both suppliers are obtaining these from the same source. Some new manufacturer/fabricators have popped up in the last few years, whereas it used to be Rares or Ray Taylor. Rares were black coated, and Rays were red oxide colour. Old ray passed and the supply seemed to end. I used both, and found Rares to be better at the time, but that was 6 years ago at least. Both fell short in the A pillar bottom interface.

Thanks for the replies gents.....Think I'll go with these rear pans from Retro Rods in QLD, apparently they're made in-house.

Hi Oz from what I’m seeing there they are superb they look far superior to Rares, wish I had of spotted them for my wagon, how did they compare in price.

Fronts are $90- each, rears are $110- each.

They are a great panel mate he only releases them the last month or so , we got the first set of the press for my brothers ute build . Excellent product fitted perfectly!!

I’m pretty sure retro rods on the sunny coast is who ended up buying all Ray Taylor’s old dies.
