Hi guys

Not far off painting the diff housing and just wanting some advice as to what paint holds up best. Not a show car but would like a neat hardy finish

It may sound stupid but I use paving paint - Berger Jet Dry.
Cheap as chips , tough as nails and has a decent finish.

Could go KBS chassis coat in satin black. That said, I have used paving paint on my lay off bench top and yep looks good and has held up very well 😊

I used engine enamel because had s bucket of it. KBS motor coater. It has frizzled where the brake hydraulic union was weeping on it but otherypwise goo$. Easy to get a massive gloss on it even with a brush.

POR15 is great as well, maybe a bit expensive but dries rock hard and can be painted over rust stained steel.

The product is not UV stable but your diff wont see the sun. It is also resistant to brake fluid i believe.
