TAYZ it says on the rego papers that its a 59 model. So im guessing thats the year model..
RATBOX she is even keener now BUT she has a bit of a problem once karen drove the wagon she wants it but she wants her ek aswell..Isay get rid of the ek..and keep the wagon .. I think the wagon has won the debate.it wont be getting painted just maybe a cut and polish.Cheers Mark
P.S the commodore wagon is for sale and will be going...

Hi Mark,

The AMP gauge is a Wilsonia (Wilson's gauge Sydney) and is period correct.

I can't really make out the "pump" in your photo but it sounds like a the windscreen washer foot pump. (There should be a glass jar in the engine bay).

The blue visor on the rear vision mirror is a NASCO option to reduce head light glare at night.

Is that a blue tip aerial I see?

Thanks for that Smooth. There is no glass jar in the engine bay BUT it has the jets thingy's on the wipers. Its got a red tip on the aerial.. Cheers Mark

Sounds a good old original car with many period and NASCO accessories.
If the washer bottle has been removed there is most likely evidence of the bracket or at least the mounting holes on the drivers side inner guard. (three holes) two at the top and one down lower that would be centered to that of the top two.

if the missus is happy to get rid of a commodore to keep an FB/EK as a daily driver sounds like a good woman and probably a keeper :D
only downside she seems a little greedy

Looks like a good buy Mark. I chucked a bid in at one stage just so I could go home and tell Mrs I had the high bid on another FB wagon!..

I have a spare washer bottle and bracket (no pump though) that you are welcome to - PM me if you're interested

Hope to catch you round sometime

Matt
