We are looking to get back into an EK / FB , preferably looking for a daily driver or one needing little work that we can drive on weekends.

Located in Adelaide but happy to look at interstate cars . Please contact me if you have or know of any for sale. Sold my EK (Cruz62) 10 years ago and finally talked the wife into getting another one.

Question : do you need an inspection in SA when registering the car?

Unmodified car requires a simple identity check in which they may poke around if anything looks sus. Significant oil and any exhaust leaks are a no no. Mainly they want to check engine number and run through computer check. Seen some rough looking examples passed recently.

Not necessarily. Front brakes will need to be at least EJ drum and tidy workmanship. If it was mod plated interstate not usually a problem but they will want to satisfy their bureaucratic selves.
