Has the worlds largest bull bar which is now advertised on Marketplace along with the rollbar , plan to put it back to stock and put it on vintage rego Image 25 year cutoff over here Image

The gearbox is out of it and it’s missing a couple of bits , it’s as clean as a whistle underneath and inside and only has a couple of small dents in the body with the exception of the tailgate , is original paint so I am chasing a straight red tailgate if anyone out there may know where one is - odometer reads 135000 kms but it’s probably stopped working which is pretty common in these so I hear

Nice. I had a VS ute for a few years in Gladstone. Other than the CAS crapping out, it was very reliable.

That bullbar would not look out of place on the front of a D9 dozer

Cheers,
Harv

The Conargo pub burnt down a few years ago - spent a lot of time there in my youth growing up in Deni - my mate txt me the other day saying they are about to start the rebuild finally

Crank Angle Sensor. Lives down the bottom amid the mud (from circle work) and oil (from leaks) behind the harmonic balancer. They are notorious for failing. The car gets warm, the CAS craps out and it stops. Pour a bottle of water over the thing and it cools down enough to run. Don't ask me how I know.

Cheers,
Harv

I will consider myself duly edumacated, thanks Harv 👍
If the motor ends up blown apart I will replace it while the harmonic is off 😉

Got it in the shed this arvo after the importanter stuff was done (FB and HR in that order ) , brakes bled up nice but the rear rotors and callipers are a bit funky , best thing was the oil in the motor was both plentiful and free of lumps and shiny bits, cut the oil filter open and same same in there Image
Plugs look good , removed the clutch and pressure plate and the flywheel looks brand new, hoping now that the flywheel lost some teeth and it was replaced and the job never finished rather than what I originally suspected which was motor toasted Image
Anyway, will have a go tomorrow at firing it after a compression test

Bit of rust in the chassis rail, will glue a patch over it tomorrow

Found a couple of other bits missing
