I used A Stitch in Time too for the wagon seats. He does a very, very neat job, can recolour worn trim centres, and is very open about what he delivers. Be warned though... it aint cheap.

Cheers,
Harv

Thanks Guys,

I am a bit shocked at the variation in prices ????

Quotes have ranged from $2000 dollars to $7000 for recovering the below

2 VN Commodore buckets.
1 rear seat base and back.
2 sunvisors, I supply the material.
2 kick panels, I supply the cards.
2 panic/grab handles.
4 door trims, I supply the cards.
2 arm rests.
2 wheel arch trims.

All will be with local sourced vinyl closest colour match and not original pattern.

This morning I have located a business near me and I will probably go with him, he is around $3000 with the shortest lead time 4 weeks, the rest are 6 weeks plus.

Anyway see how I go. If there is any other recommendations please let me know.

Your right Harv, not cheap !!!!!!

Greg

Greg,

You could try Lalken at 72 Hotham Parade in Artarmon (ex-Barry Hopkins Trimming). 9439 6194. I had to re-weld the frame of my FC's front seat - he stripped the seat down to the frame, I welded it, and he rebuilt it. He has an EK, I think.

Hi Greg
$3K for all of that would be a good price I think as long as the quality was there, Franks bench seat (full strip down, modification for floor hump and rebuild), door cards (I supplied door cards) and kick panels cost me $2K and that was with club discount and the quality is superb I think.

What Neil said Greg. My front ute bench no mods or repairs to frame but fix a few springs and re foam, local quality vinyl, $800. Excellent job done.
