307 EK wagon build
I've been working on my EK wagon for a bit over 12 months, and hope to have it on the road by about the middle of this year. It will be running a 307 and turbo 350. It's just a backyard job, so won't be a show car, I'm just after a nice tidy weekend cruiser. I have attached some progress photos.

Thanks Errol. Yes, the car came with original books, and all rego papers etc from new until it was parked up in 1989. It was originally purchased by a bakery in Toowoomba.Errol62 wrote: Sun Mar 24, 2019 12:11 am Very nice Ian. Any history on the car?

Thanks Taz, yes this one had more than I realized. I looked at it dressed in good clothes, so didn't look underneath as much as I should have...lesson learnedTAZ wrote: Sun Mar 24, 2019 12:12 am Looking good mate. These cars certainly have their rust issue

Re: 307 EK wagon build
How old is that photo?
Re: 307 EK wagon build
The pale green and white really suit the vehicle.

Re: 307 EK wagon build
Love the photos Ian I have an fb wagon (thanks to Blacky's boneyard) waiting outside my home workshop ready to come in when my Ute 'Frankenstein' is finished I'm going to go with a 307 also but first I have to replace the whole roof
Nothing wrong with home built cars either mate I get real enjoyment out of saying that I built it and know every nut and bolt on my car please keep the photos coming as I'm sure they are going to help me along with the other wagon builds on here with mine when I start.
Regards
Neil

Thanks for the pic’s Ian. Looks like you’ve tackled a big metal replacement job there. Keep having fun.

Yes, the fun is in doing it yourself if you can. Replacing the roof will keep you busy for a while.FireKraka wrote: Sun Mar 24, 2019 9:42 am Love the photos Ian I have an fb wagon (thanks to Blacky's boneyard) waiting outside my home workshop ready to come in when my Ute 'Frankenstein' is finished I'm going to go with a 307 also but first I have to replace the whole roof![]()
