Hi Guys wondering if anybody can help me with a couple of front blinker/park light sockets, I don't have any and the Vintage Wiring harness didn't come with them also need the connections that go to the interior light switches I assume they go around the switch itself.

mate unless you have the patience of Bones I suggest you buy some new ones and mod the indicator housings to suit - those things are nearly always ratshit
Are you using a stock interior light ? There is a mob on epay that do a repair kit for the switch , I used one on the rattler and it worked a treat.

I did get a couple from Rares but as you probably know they don't fit so I assume your saying to fit a smaller ring to the housing so the sockets push in hey and I was after the actual door push button switch connection wire/s I am using the original interior light and the switch is ok thanks to Harv got a good one.

I can see from photos your a pillars at least are EK with the smaller switch hole no? The switches for these are interchangeable EK to at least HZ, and are available new from multiple sources. The attachment is a crimp on washer shape which fits over the switch and contacts the switch body when spring tension is released by opening the door. You probably already know all this but my point is why not just get a pair of new switches and crimp the ends on your wiring. Second hand ones could be used with some solder I suppose. Sorry I don’t have any spare mate.

Any way lucky they’re not FB because they are quite dear.

Thanks Clay maybe I'm talking a bit of Swahili (also copped the flu over the break and am piled up) I do have the small push in switches it is the crimped wire connection you are talking about mate that I am after.

is it the globe holders you are after ( front blinker/park light sockets, ) or the hole light housing I may have the globe holders may need some work ,but a bloke that has done all that work so far shouldn't have a problem, I recondiond mine not hard.

Did you call Vintage - the loom should have all light sockets - will have to check mine now - got me worried.

When I had my front loom made by Vintage, I sent him my original front sockets as they weren't available after market. They then incorporated them into the front loom. They need to know if you are putting indicators and parkers in the front or just indicators, there can be confusion as the FE & FC utes and standards had parkers in the headlights.

Hi Billy it is the sockets that I need I have a couple that I got from Rares but they don't fit if you have a couple that would be great otherwise I will shim the pal/blinker eyebrow socket.

Wally no sockets mate so you should check yours let me know if you have them if you do I will be ringing them, my harness had all the rear sockets and like you I assumed (never assume anything I was once told) that it would have the fronts.

If you get stuck Neil give me a yell - PM me pictures of what you are after. I’ve got an old loom that has been scavenged from over the years, and will need to cut the heart out of it in a week or so to repair the FB gennie wiring.
