Nice Ric. That roof shot is killer.

Cuppla things you’ve done that I hadn’t noticed before on cars (probably ‘cos I don’t look hard enough) is the upside down ignition coil and fuel filter between pump and carby.

Keep the pictures coming if you have any - not sure why you can’t load more than one at a time, but there’s a recent thread on posting issues if you want to look.

Cheers,

John

I think the upside down miss Jane coil is standard fitment John. The boot looks like it has been kept nice and dry Ric. Original paint is outstanding.

Thanks John,
That rear window/venetian blind shot is one of my favourites.

As Clay mentions the coil is standard fit looks like an upside down old fashioned tin beer can.
The leads are original & so is the O ring between plugs 3 & 4.
No spark plug boots on the leads was standard from the factory as well.
I have only had to re fit the coil lead terminal, as it had parted off the lead at the bottom of the coil.
The leads are wire & are a little soft but not gel like as some I have seen.

It still has the original rotor button, but I had to remove the original brown Bosch dizzy cap & replace with a new black Bosch one as the carbon had broken up & she stopped.
I still have the original dizzy cap.

The filter was fitted sometime in the 80's, not much I can do on that. But I have replaced it as it was all crazed & weeping.
It looks even MORE out of place now.
I'd have to get an original old fuel line & maybe hide a filter down stairs somewhere.

Yes Clay,
The boot is just old.

I gave it a really good clean just using Mr Sheen, and that's how she came up.
Even the tape over the shock mount holes is factory spec.
