Battery tray and hold down

Hi All, my new FB sedan doesn’t have a battery hold down. I’ve done a bit of searching on the inter web but can’t see any pictures of the setup. This is what I’ve got:

A battery compartment with a nice red patch at the base
Image

A hole at the front and back of the compartment
ImageImage

A pair of holes at each end of the compartment on the fender side
Image

I see there are bump stops available - I’m assuming these go into the paired holes??
Do the holes at each end take the typical hold down bolts similar to these?
Image

Does anyone have a picture of the hold down bar?
Thanks all.

you are correct on all counts - the battery hold down bar is basically a bit of 25x25x2 (or the imperial equivalent of course) angle iron. I can take a pic of mine when I get home later this week but no doubt someone will have done it already for you long before I get back to the right side of the country ....

Thanks guys. I see ol’ mate’s got a bargain going. Ad says FE FC but looks similar to what you’ve described, Blacky

Still unable to find a good picture of the battery clamp setup so going on Blacky’s advice and the FE/FC one shown on eBay, I quickly mocked this up.
Image

Does it look right? The bolts are on an angle and there’s a metal clip on the bar to hold the negative battery lead. Still not sure what those 2 “C” clips, shown on eBay, do. This battery’s about 2” shorter than the original so I’ll probably put in some packing. Also, when I get the rubber bump stops, they’re spaced too far apart to protect both ends.
Cheers,
John

Looks like the C clips in the e\bay ad are the clips that come with the $10 hold down kit he has bought to go with the original battery bracket
