visor windscreen dash - advice please

Hi All
I'm after some advice on how to proceed.
I purchased a visor for my EK. It has been restored and painted and looks shmick! It needs to be installed now. I assume it needs nuts and bolts to attach the brackets to the roof. Self tappers wouldn't be strong enough???
I also have a dash top that has flaked and needs restoring and re-spraying with clinker grey.
The panel beater/spray painter suggests we take out the windscreen, then we can access under the headliner vinyl to bolt the visor on AND restore the dash top at the same time. Sounds like a plan.
Now I managed to replace the windscreen rubber myself last year...and I am NOT keen to repeat the effort of putting the windscreen back in a second time - it wasn't an easy task. Now I have a visor there too, surely that'll make it even harder to reinstall the windscreen. Won't it get in the way when trying to re-seat the windscreen? My hair is going greyer just thinking about it!!!
Any advice would be appreciated please.
