Hey Fellas,

Thought i might throw something up for anyone that wants to see. Going to be picking up my sedan from Bootlegger in the next few weeks. He has so gracefully kept it sitting there for me for some time, and it is so very appreciated.

Plans are to build a custom cruiser, something i can drive every day, (until i build my next car) and have it do a little advertising for the shop.

Already have almost a whole car in parts and pieces ready to go. Hoping to have it close to done by around December / January. It could be a little quicker, could be a little longer, still finalising the design and mod list.


will post some pics of the body when i pick it up in the coming weeks.
I have started repairing some panels last night and tonight, I will post some pics of that soon too

are you going to lean the B pillar forward or is that a bit of artistic licence ? We were considering it for my 2 door but decided not to . That WILL be a fast build if you can pull it off !!! You got 3 months off work or something ?

Hey man!

no, not going to lean the pillar forward, its just the way Ryan drew this one.
This rendering was done a while back, plans have slightly changed since then, but the car will still be similar to this.

no time off work, run my own company, dont sleep much either... remember, there's three 8hr days in one 24hr day hahahaha

it wont be a full build, as in like a show car or anything, body will be in all-u-need and roof may get a candy if i have time, bars will be sanded and satin cleared, everything else i might just send to the powder coater's to do in black or grey or something. I know this is definitely not the way to build a car properly, but this has always been planned to be a ratter and cruiser, and done quickly.

It will still have quality work done to it, no corners cut by any means, planning to work on it every night after work, and my gurlfriend helps at my shop too, so thats another pair of hands

Here is the boot lid I started with. I definitely know its the wrong way to start doing the panels first, but as I said, i haven't picked up the body yet, so I'm just doing what I can until I have more room in the shop, and time to go get the body.










I was considering not cleaning the panels and matching the body to the patina on the panels I have as they are all off the same car, but then thought $*#@ it, i will put some effort in to make the car kinda nice.

So i stripped the paint off and began some repairs.

By the look of things you either work in or own a panel shop ?

Good luck with the project and look forward to seeing some pics. Sounds like your going to be busy for the next 3 months. It takes me 3 months to get organised to change the oil on my ute!

Thanks bro!

Believe me, its taken a lot of hard work, sleepless nights and sacrifice to have the shop and my life in this position. But its definitely worth it

I removed the original paint from the boot lid.








Its not too bad, there's one decent kink in the middle of the skin, but i should be able to shrink that down.
More to come soon...
