look up old posts and so on
i have made so many good friends through this forum
good people i would have never met (yes you to blacky)
to me face book is $*#@
its destroyed social talk between people and dont get me started with kids
i go out for dinner with friends and all they $*#@ do is sit on facebook instead of talking
which is why i went out for dinner with them in the first place
i now have a rule that i stick by if you pull out your phone and start on facebook while im out with you or having dinner i get up walk out and leave
its rude
its unsociable and it pisses me off
yes i know its the sign of the times
just call me old fashioned

Paul, you're 100% plus right.
In my line of work, I would lean on my work vehicle and read my car magazines until they decide to acknowledge me.
They get the message quick smart.
I would then ask them several questions about their vehicle break down situation whilst working on it and it pisses them off because they need to verbally communicate with me.
