HI all,
spotted these recently in Winton, Qld.
Driving past the end of the street - a brief glimpse of some familiar fenders resulted in an immediate "U" turn and up the little street....
Found this amusing attempt to clone "Gus" - and a bit further into the maze of deteriorating vehicles found this old girl - bit too far gone, and definitely too far away (sounds like a Jack Thompson movie, doesn't it) to do much with. Sadly, showing signs of how it was last moved to this final resting place...

Recon we've seen worse but more accessible cases than that wagon listed for sale as resto projects on eBay and gumtree Rosco. Gotta love the bush.

Clay,
it could be a resto - but in its location, it is highly unlikely.
I wouldn't want to be the bloke to go ask to cannibalise it... there were a couple of big black dogs in there - obviously, some reason for this.
There is another "museum" on the other side of this small outback town - the bloke has restored many trucks and other equipment... this one might be on the list of future donations.
There's an XP Falcon in there, along with a Super Snipe and an Austin 1800 mk 2... but he's more into restoring trucks than cars - got a great line up of them.
We will probably go into the museum next year, didn't have time this year.

frats,
Rosco

The wagon looks o.k. to fix up.
