My blinkers have decided to work sometimes and sometimes not...

Flasher can? Bad earth? Where would you start looking...?

Probably start with the earths, then the flasher can. Failing that check the indicator assembly in the column.

My FB was notorious for it. The clutch pedal return bump stop is right near the flasher can, and the "thump" of the pedal used to slowly loosen the flasher can wiring plug. I ended up giving the flasher can pins a slight bend to hold them tighter into the plug... no dramas since.

Cheers,
Harv
