Taxi bar ID help

G'day all,

recently picked up this taxi bar (at least I hope it is and not a safety handrail from somebodies grandma's house). I hoped it was FB Ek but the bracket profile is not quite right and it is about 10mm too narrow and not deep enough. I have tried it on an EJ, HR and FE and not right for them either. Last hope is FX FJ so if anyone knows what they are looking at could you help me out? thanks.

Al

G'day Tex,

I'm no expert on taxi rails, but looking through some NASCO brochures shows:
a) the FE NASCO brochure doesn't list a taxi bar.
b) FB has the genuine NASCO taxi bar attached to the seat http://members.tripod.com/~sixties_hold ... nasco.html
c) EK has the genuine NASCO taxi bar attached to the seat (http://www.uniquecarsandparts.com.au/ho ... sories.php).
d) EJ has the genuine NASCO taxi bar attached to the B-pillars (http://forum.fefcholden.club/index.php? ... s;start=20).
e) EH has the genuine NASCO taxi bar attached to the B-pillars (http://hotrod.gregwapling.com/car-spott ... nasco.html)
f) HD has the genuine NASCO taxi bar attached to the seat (http://hotrod.gregwapling.com/car-spott ... nasco.html)
g) HR has the genuine NASCO taxi bar attached to the seat (http://www.uniquecarsandparts.com.au/br ... sories.php)

These could well be artists interpretations though.

The MasterParts manual only lists HD/HR (7426911).

Cheers,
Harv
