Well after over twelve months of a difficult personal situation I finally have been able to get motivated enough to tackle some of the major projects in my shop.
Firstly my offsider left and I havent been able to find a skilled replacement and then a major car accident with my injuries and a protracted legal battle which is still ongoing had taken its toll on me.
Today I finally got Harvs body in hifill. As usual its a lot of work but im feeling good that ive got to this point.
Next week ill get into the hanging panels.
Thanks Harv for being so patient. Im so sorry for making you wait.

I took on three huge restos. I figured that would be keep the two of us going for a few months. I've been picking at the three of them since.
I'm getting through it all plus all the little stuff that comes in.
Hopefully in November my legal crap is over and I can get a pay out for my destroyed 66 Vette and finally get on with my life.

Cooooool

.
I've had this project for a decade. A few years trying to work out how to build it, four years in storage whilst we were overseas, then another three years crapping myself whilst the NSW rules changed and settled out. Dave's time on the project is tiny compared to my own delays. He's been very upfront about where it is at, and any time required. No dramas at all from my end.
I'm still trying to work out where the hell I'm going to put this once Dave's finished with rust paint and panel. Imagine a single car fibro shed filled with grey motor stuff. I need a bigger shed. Or two. Maybe the kids won't notice if I put their crap out in the rain

.
Cheers,
Harv

Yep... kinda embarrassed how long it's taken me. So much has changed - when I started this, the only front ends available were CRS or V6 Conversions.

Well I got another day in today. I spent it gapping the doors. Is it just me or do all fb/ ek wagon rear doors need fitting to the opening? Both sides needed major surgery to get the gaps right.
I had to do this with Stewart's wagon as well.
It seems to me the doors are unique to each car from the factory therefore if you don't have the original doors off the car you are in for fun and games.
Front doors don't seem to be as bad.

Geeze, Dave...its an old Holden wagon.
The back doors never bloody fit...I thought you knew that?

Yep they never bloody fit but when you have to cut almost a quarter of an inch off the bottom at one end and reshape the wheel arch area you start to wonder what was going on in the factory.
