Here's my Olden, Pops EK from Forbes NSW. Car was my Great Uncle Basil's who used it as a private taxi taking people from Forbes area to Sydney. Basil sold it to Nan and Pop in '65 ish. Basil would check that they were keeping her clean and serviced and looking after her right. Pop looked after his 5000 acre farm and the EK started its duties. Stories I've been told are:
That it was used to go to the tractors of a morning and being parked under a tree then driving it back to the house at night,
To driving Dad and his 4 sisters 1km down the road to the school bus and being parked there all day under a tree (it was black so hot hot hot in summer!) only to be driven 1 km back to the homestead after school,
To my aunty and nan eating minties in there (see proof of their minty love),
To it carrying the family in and out of town, Pop and Nan with dads baby seat between them in the front seat and the 4 girls across the back!
Car was parked up after 20 odd years of school bus duty in a shed. She was moved around from shed to shed a fair bit getting her outta the way but from about mid to late 80s to late 2000s. Mum remembers "the black car" being in a shed in early 90s when Mum and Dad met. Dad had always dreamt of doing her up with his mates as a teen but never did (he chopped the roof off an eh as a fox shooting car and molested that instead of the EK, EH was rolled along with a Leyland Mini). Car then went to my Uncle who took the motor out (he still has motor) and put it back on the farm, he is into Datsuns, then he offered it to Me and Dad who took her in on the 5th Feburary 2014.

Since then I have hooked in and completely stripped it and have almost stripped all the paint.
Car has bugger all rust and is only bad in the end of the sill on driver side and driver side rear quarter which is completely gone.
Plan is to go original grey with twin stommys, converted to trimatic, original interior paint and original vinyl seats and a fresh lick of black, whitewalls and gts rims will set it off! Aim is to get it done by the end of year 12 so 2 1/2 years away! Exactly what my head think end product will be:

The nickname '"black car" came about because that what it was called by Pop and Dad back in the day and that how we refer to it now! Number plates will be either
[BLK-CAR] or [FXZ-202] fxz-202 is what I think the plates were originally but not 100% sure, just like the ring to FXZ-202, perfect if I ever put a 202 in it
