Brake Shoe Orientation

A quick question regarding front brakes, fellas.
According to the workshop manual, the long shoe is the primary and the short shoe is the secondary.
Does the primary (long shoe) go to the front or the back?
Im pretty sure its the front, but I just want to check.

if you don't hear anything i can look at some brake set ups i have here tomorrow (no guarantee they are correct though)

Im pretty sure its right though.
Big shoe leading, small shoe trailing.
Unless an eggspurt corrects me.

i got 2 lots of brake set ups here all have long to front
they could be put togeather wrong but strange coincidence if they are
