This is the one I had at the Nationals that I purchased in 1990 for $900. Those were the days!

Honey Beige...What else? 68,000 Gen miles. Stocker... No V-8 Yet Ratbox

Hey Steve,

She's a rippa! If I had a second choice of colour, I would have to say 'Honey Beige'. What condition was she in back in 1990??
Any plans to change running gear or appearance down the track, or keep her for the museum...?
It wasn't that long ago these beautiful cars were reasonably priced, I attribute the internet (ebay  ) to the massive spike in prices in recent times, as now when one comes on the market, everyone in Oz knows about it instead of just those that read the local paper!!!

Cheers for the pics, I love a good van story...

Hi SCK, thanks so much!

It was pretty much how you see it. The paint was about the same & I had to respray the outside only after a bingle on the return trip from the Tamworth Nationals 1992.

I am planing on dropping it down, wide painted wheels, sway bars & shocks. That's it. It's been stock for too long.

I blame Ratbox for jacking the prices!!! "Honest Mick's Used EK's" He was a very BIG dealer!

Play nice now boys!! :x

I reckon everytime we buy one and add to this forum, we drive the value up... glad I've got a couple in that case!!!

Mick, it's time we drove the prices up again!

It's just a matter of advertising some at big prices to stimulate the market.

I think these cars are too cheap!!!

LOL, I don't want to sell any of mine so it will have to be Mick's cars that we'll have to put the big dollars on..... after you buy yours of corse!

Here are some pics of the Van back in 1991 at the rear of the shop with the old logo....

Next pics are after the Tamworth Nationals, on the road I hit a Kangaroo, so I did the bare metal respray in 1992.

Then the last logo before I went to Magnetic logos ... what a mistake they were. The paint still has the scares.

Love this van Steve !!! Great to see one original that we can all refer back too.

With all the blue vans out there now, this one gave me the balls to re-consider my van colour and eventually spray it back to Katherine Beige !!

Really nice unit ... not allowed to V8 it !!!

Thanks so much Scott. Hey Blue Vans a cool. I have owned quite a few in Blue.

Nah, This one is staying original.

Thanks lulu, I am thrilled to be it's owner. I rang the original owner a few months back & he was glad to hear that the Van wasn't at the tip like most ended up. I have owned it for almost twenty years now. I got offered $20,000 for it over a year back. lucky I wasn't tempted.

When I was looking for the Add for the release of the FB holden (which was in the glove box of the Van) I found the receipt where the guy I purchased the Van from got it.

Check out the FB on there Letter head :D
