Re-conditioning

I've just picked up my EK225AUT and have limited information on it's history. She runs rather well (I think for her age) but I want to have the old grey re-conditioned. There is some discussions on this using a local guy rather than the big guys, but I don't know which is which. Many are listed in the yellow and only those who can afford a web page are listed there.
Can anyone suggest potential re-conditioners in Perth and surrounds?

The best bloke to speak to would be David at Galloway Engines -
http://www.gallowayengines.com.au/
He is in Pinjarra and is a forum member on here.

I had mine done by Richard @ Leonhardt Automotive in Bellevue (Midland). He's excellent if you're not in a hurry.

Hi Peter
I agree with Blacky Gary C on the FE FC Forum has just had his race engine done by Galloway's they did a lot of R&D for him on roller rockers etc can't hurt to give them a call.

Thanks for the advice. In the interim, I had Olive (my EK) checked out by a local mechanic for a service and tune. I was pleasently surprised to see a 39' &*#@ pick-up in his workshop in the middle of a re-build, tells me he has a passion for the old girls. Anyhow, he said the engine was re-con'd between 2 and 4 years ago and runs pretty well, he suggested if its not a daily use car, then leave for now and see how she goes for a couple months. So I have re-directed by budget to the interior.... she's looking pretty spec, if i can just get those damn door panels on....
