Rewiring - indicators

Just about finished rewiring. However, the FB had one flasher can for the indicators. The new wiring loom has two flasher cans. Can anyone tell me whether I can just connect the two flasher cans to the yellow cable from the steering column? Or should I be doing something else?
Cheers,
Aaron

is it one flasher can for indicators and one for hazard lights ? Need some wiring diagrams to figure this one out ......
I would try wiring it up with one flasher can and see what happens

That hadn't even occurred to me Blacky - thanks for the tip. I'll try it out and see what happens.
Cheers,
Aaron.

What loom did you use? I'll back it in its one for indicators and one for hazards. Was looking at a mates loom he just bought and it had similar, should be listed in the instructions though.

It's an EZ wiring kit. The instructions don't mention hazard lights - but it makes sense (actually, the instructions don't mention quite a few things...). If that's what it turns out to be I'll advise.
Cheers,
Aaron.

Looks like you were right Blacky/devilrod. Connected one can and the front indicators are working a treat! Nothing at the back though - damn... Surely there wouldn't be a can for the front and one for the back would there?????

Is it an American kit ? They might have the indicators in the taillights - just run wires from the front indicators to the back ones.

Figured it out - bad connection to the rear indicators and a bad earth on the dash (dash indicators weren't working either). This was an informative session on the car this morning - I've discovered I've wired up the ignition switch incorrectly. The engines tries to start when the key is in the On position - rather than when you turn it to start!! Back to tracing cables!!
