Honestly the wheels look too small. They look lost in the arches....
14's would have been better. Or as Ratbox said lower it a little.

If you are going for the '60 look? The cars then were actually raised in the arse and not that low in the front anyway. I agree low cars look cool but we shouldn't all be sheep and copy everybody else either. It's your car Mark and it's about what you think looks right/nice.
You have to ask yourself if YOU like the look and care little about what others think!

You can now do like I do.
I've got three sets of wheels,
Wide Stockies,
Vintage mags,
and Chromies.
Three steering wheels,
Stock,
Old Saas sports,
and vintage woodrim.
Three floorshift Gear knobs,
and a Grandpa kit - Spats, Venetion.
I change the car around to suit various events.
Grandpa kit & stockies for the holden day,
Vintage mags & steering wheel for a hot rod run etc.
So keep all the wheels and parts you collect.
Cheers Jeff

I like it, by the look of it if you lower it the guards will scrape the rear tyres, I once had a set of 13x7 dragways on my car and they stuck out level with the guards.
Any way, back to your car, I recon along with kidney mags dragways realy suit 50's & 60's holdens

Yeah good on ya!
I'm not saying he "should" raise it higher than it is. I was just stating how it was. The trend of dropping into the weeds is a more current trend.
Be careful fitting Tramp Rods - they can get caught on cattle grids.

Beautiful looking wagon but must agree with Devilrod, they look a little too small, especially the front wheel.
Still, i love the look of the flappers on just about all older cars.

maybe a higher profile tyre might be worth trying
on the rims then they wont look as small; and you
will fill the gaurd space a bit more . but i think they
look good ; i had dragways on my ek sedan when it was blue

i think a higher profile will make the wheels look smaller
