I have an old ventian that was in an FB that i bought some time ago, but the problem is when i got the car it was actually in the boot so i never saw it fitted and when it came to doing the resto i decided on one of the reproductions to replace and save me painting and playing with it.

Now that i have bought an round around ek i want to clean up its appearance and put this into it. on the bottom there are holes, now are there brakets missing, or does this require a few screws into the parcel tray.

Maybe some one out there can help me, mind you i saw one the same in the current green ek for sale on ebay at lithgow, but did not think to check it properly.

Maybe smooth or some one might be able to email fitting instuctions??

Thanks guys.

Retro,

It will depend on the manufacturer of the NASCO Venetian. (There were multiple suppliers) Most common style has two legs under the rubber at the bottom and two adjustable legs at the top that slide up under the rubber.

Next is the style (more so FE-FC) that has two plates that sit on the parcel shelf (they float and are not fixed) pressure holds everything in place. The lower pads sit on the plates and the top again has adjustable sliders that lock in under the rubber.

Then there is the style that bolts to the parcel shelf and these typically have hinged lower mounting pads and the top also locks in under the rubber.

If this doesn't make sense post a picture or two so I can see the design (included shots on top, bottom and adjusting/locking points).
