wanted air cleaners\pair stromberg

G,day fellow members,I,m looking for a pair of air cleaners for my stromberg carbs.They,re grey motor stromies,preferably aluminium but will consider others,I,m in Sale Victoria,thankyou.

or if you don't like the look of the aussie speed ones, how about something like these?

I like them, the fact there isn't any wing nuts holding them on they look clean. What brand are they? and where do you get them?

Scott, they're yank products; made to suit 97 stroms which are slightly wider neck than aussie stroms. I got a mate to turn some shim rings out of alloy; they then fitted fine - they use grub screws to fit...
(later I realised I probably could have cut up the Leader of the Opposition's aluminium egg rings to make shims, but she'd take a rather jaundiced view of that...)
Cost USD75 each (including 4" filter element - reusable) plus postage. When I got them, our $ was USD1.08, the pair including postage then cost less than ONE similar aussie speed air cleaner (with no postage).
Highly polished, very good quality, 4 or 5 different styles available (they call them '2 barrel air cleaners'). Easy to deal with, parts arrived here about 10 days after ordering...
