well one year down and the ek has now been finally moved from my mates house and is now locked away in my shed and the time to start getting parts for my build has arrived and the handbrake is pulling hard on the brakes but no luck for her. I have the engineer sorted, k frame, transmission, diff but yet to shorten brakes, steering and stub axles, 4 new floor pans waiting to go in and as of yesterday a flash kit off a fb cause I like them sorted from a member from here which I am extremely grateful for. So thanks heaps I will name the nice guy soon but its his last one so I'm waiting till I have it.
Because this is a joint project car between myself and my wife (with me doing all the work but I will hassle her for help then she can appreciate it more) the colour is proving to be the most stressful part so far!!! All I have got sorted in that area is a white that I made up (personal formula) which will be used for the two tone and interior parts like the gauges and steering wheel and what ever comes to mind
the first colour choice for the ek which is mine but got a maybe from the wife even though shes not real keen on it with the white though she likes the white but a maybe after I got a stainless steel kitchen knife to separate the colours so she could understand a bit better how it will go on the car though I think I have a few other colour's to spray out first
I like the green , bit hard to see the pearl in the white on my screen ....

the pearl is meant to be very fine and provide a flip effect more than a face hoping it is the sort of thing that people look at and just see white but then have to look again and goo ohh that's a pearl i could add a couple of crystal or xyrellic pearl pea;s to make it more coarse
