Has anyone seen an EK or FB with black/dark door tops.
A lot of cars have this colour effect, and I thought it would look good on my EK?
A little photoshop below (maybe a matt or Grey would be better), but wonder if anyone has seen one or has a real image ?

Isnt htere an FC wagon done sort of like that?

We used to do this on our cars in the 70s ....I had a white fc with blacked out window frames and sills ...we used satin finish .....The ideacame from the xw and xy GT falcons ......Ahhhhhhhhhh the memories flood back ..Fingers

Yes Fingers, that was what I thought. Satin black. I had done a few myself previously.

The GT's and actually lots of cars had it over the years.

i think it works better when the roof is the same color as the car
or black like the tops of the doors / window surrounds

I've gone off the idea now, just wondered if it had been done or if anyone had any photos.
