im guessing that's Doveton in Vic?

If so, you'll need to be a member of a club, each club has different guidelines as to what constitutes membership and the issuing of club rego. Some have just a safety check by a nominated signatory in that club. Or more are now asking for a RWC.

Also that club has to be part of the club plate scheme..

That would be Vic.
You wil have to be a member of a club, the vic FB/EK I think is a years active membership before getting club rego.
This is to stop people just joining to get the club rego and never being seen again.

If your not in a club yet you will find they have rules for this.
Most will wont you to be a member for 12 months and attend meetings on a regular basis.

None of this join now and submit a request for club plates shit.
Check with clubs in your area mate....but I think there all similar.... :smile22:

To be technical it's not club reg but Club Permit Scheme which is a permit to drive an unregistered vehicle.
To apply for cps with the FB/EK Holden Club of Victoria, you need to be an active club member for minimum of six months, supply a current RWC, and attend at least six club runs which can include club meetings per year.
If you go on cps and don't attend at least six runs per year, your permit may not be signed by the permit officer when up for renewal. Highly modified vehicles are not accepted on cps. Hope this explains it for you.

Kym and I were talking about this today.
So if I drive the car today, and Kym drives it home today, do both of us have to make an entry in the logbook???
No one can give us an answer on this question.
P.S. thanks for grabbing my stuff the other night too Reidy. You had me worried for a while.... lol

Dave.

No worries Dave my pleasure.
If two people are going to drive the car in the same 24hr period, they each must sign the logbook. That's why I sign my daily entry at the top of the box in case someone else wants to throw caution to the wind and pilot the Rat! Then they fill in their name and signature below in the same box.
