Hi,
I have this awesome old girl and she is thankfully pretty rust free. Just a little in some common areas, but overall she is a beauty that has sat in West Qld here for some years before I got her.
She is a 215 plate and the engine purrs.
So far everything seems to work on her but I had a stuck wheel cylinder, so doing all of them now.
I'm not sure if I will be keeping her though as I have a number of cars on the go and I scored this old girl as a part trade deal. Is it worth holding on to the old girl as she is a Standard? I see there were not that many made.

Yeah I'm really hoping to keep it for now its just the $$ with 3 projects lol
Ill give her a tidy up, finish brakes and see how she goes once all sorted, she seems to have a smoother, nicer sounding motor than my old FC i used to have. Just doing a carby clean out too and going to fit a fuel filter. Should it go between tank-pump or pump- carby?

Most I've seen have it between pump and carby

I'd be putting the filter between the tank-pump if it was me, don't want any crap going through your pump

thanks
I fitted it just before carby as had a spot for it there and in my last old 1940 chevy truck project I had it before the pump and it still kept clogging the needle/seat from crap in the old fuel lines. So this time put it just before carby.

done carby kit and filter and runs well. Just need to do wheels cylinders then driveable again.
BUT the bad news is that she may go on the market soon as got too many cars and one has to go, so will post ad in next few weeks but open to offers.
