Hi all. Finally got the the front subframe off to attack the rust in the firewall. Just a couple of photos, will keep updating as I go. Taking a lot longer than first planned   Kind regards, Steve

Yeah, I've got to do the same repair soon as well as the bloody outer subframe leg to body/sill repair. Not looking forward to it, but I know its got to be done.

Did you make the repair section or find a good one from a donor car?

Terry.

Hi Terry. I have to do the rail repairs as well. I made the firewall section out of 1.6mm black steel plate. It was made in five sections to get the shape, as I do not have a sheet metal bender. I tig welded it all together then linished it up to make it appear as one original piece. Kind regards, Steve
