Excuse the ignorance here I am new to the early Holden thing.
How easy is it to convert the front brakes on an ek wagon to disc brakes?
Are there kits available do I need to source an HR front end?? Sorry if this is dumb question but I am not sure where else to find this info aprt from asking a bunch of experts?.
Also so I don't get ripped off what would be a plausible budget for this?

you used to be able to buy a disc brake conversion for the king pin front but not sure if they are still available try hoppers stoppers, CRS etc, other than it's a HR disc brake front

For a HR front end conversion (if you can do the work yourself) you could build the setup for about $400.

Where is the best place to source a HR from end?
Castlemaine rod shop has them listed for $595, but why are all the HR front ends selling for >$800 on eBay?

I think you will find the Castlemaine ones are just a crossmember , you will then need to find wishbones stub axles and steering gear etc.
